    just wondering, does the Vaio have better or worse specs than the MacBook Pro?

    They both roughly have good specs (Core i7, ATI Graphics).

    Bear in mind, I'm on a discrete model (2006) runs on really slow Core 2 Duo CPU. It originally shipped with OS X Tiger.

    Yeah, the discrete line was a small step back, but I suppose it did carve the way for greatness...
    At least it has a dual core processor! (my PC has the worlds worst Intel processor)
    i7 in a laptop must be a lot of fun, but is it a battery killer?

    The Xperia X8 seems to be a pretty nice phone.
    Your PC seems to have specs similar to mine (well, you have a better processor and your GPU beats my current one, but would be similar if I could fit a better PSU into my case to power my better one :P ) so I'm guessing it's not a bad experience on your PC.

    Doesn't sound like too bad a laptop (I've always had issues with Acer build quality). iOS isn't too bad a platform for this forum, but the spelling correction often gets in the way.
