    Please give a 'thank you'

If anyone has helped you on this wonderful forum, please at least give a reply 'thank you'. It's not much to ask, but if you found a solution to your problem or something you didn't know about .. we would all like to know how our replies are helping you.

I know that people come and go... get a quick answer and move on, but common courtesy ("consideration/generosity") shouldn't be lost or ignored by the original poster :)

Right you are Jacee. If I help someone and they share the results back into the post I rep them for telling me that it was resolved. Lots of good folks have passed through this forum. I enjoy my time spent here. lm

I agree...If it wasn't for the nice comments that I get from people I help or knowing that some people might be able to find a solution from my posts...I would have stopped sharing a long time ago. Were apart of a community that encompasses the entire world and we (who diagnose and know how to effectively use a computer well) are a small group that can really make a difference by just lending our knowledge to one who needs it. I salute all the others on this forum who consistently stay here and help people. Thanks for a job well done

    Right On Jacee...

Its frustrating when some one will post a problem, members will reply with possible solutions, and they don't return to thread to let us know what worked.

Worse yet is when they're active on the thread (in real time), get possible solutions, reply a couple of times with, tried that, didn't work, then others will offer more things to try and they just disappear. Whats Up With That???

Agree a "thank you" is common courtesy and isn't asking too much. If any one caught this post, then you know how I feel about showing appreciation.

Let us know what worked, so it will help others more quickly. Whether the solution came from a post in the thread or if you solved it on your own, let us know.

BTW, How do threads get marked as "Solved"? Can the thread starter do this?
