The first two links are definitely the same vender, but I'm not so sure about the third. How would one check that out? I wish that I had seen that before ordering, because the price is much better than I paid.

Doesn't look like the same company. I think TVDVDMania is a liquidator... not sure if related. Coopersjd has diff. registration info

On top of everything else, when I just rechecked my account, the was an international POS fee of $3.90. After Googling, I found that was a charge levied by the bank for a transaction that crosses national borders. The only thing useful in this, is that I learned that Power DVD Classics is in Mississuaga, Ontario, Canada. Doing business on the internet is like wearing a blindfold while at the checkout stand of a store.
EDIT: Checking FlagFox, I found that their server is in the Netherlands. Cooper's DVD Store is in the USA (or at least their server is). I guess that they could still be branches of the same outfit, but I would imagine not.

The DVD set arrived today, which is surprising since they came from China. I guess that all of those websites that are offering this are merely distributors, and they are drop shipping them from the manufacturer, rather than shipping them themselves. Now I have my work cut out for me, because I want to encode all 558 episodes as quickly as possible, so that if there is a problem, that I can get replacements.
Good to hear they came.
558 encodes - you do have your work cut out for you.
I'm already a bit discouraged, because I played the first few minutes of volume 1 disc 1, and it was pretty poor, in regards to resolution quality. Also the webpage said that these would all be in chronological order, but that episode was hosted by Dale Robertson, instead of the old ranger. Robertson was the last host, not the first.
Considering the age of the show, the source material is bound to be an non-remastered rip.
And since it's from China, I'm not that surprised 'what was advertised' is not really what you got
Perhaps, but I have received a few discs from China in the past, that was of the same vintage, and while I don't believe that they were remastered, they still had better quality than these.
I ordered from a website in the Netherlands, my account was charged from Canada and the shipment came from China. I guess that is what you call an international transaction.
I just finished encoding the first disk, and HandBrake did a pretty good job of cleaning up the video, so I would expect the same will be true for the rest, so I will keep the set, unless something else pops up.
Alas! After considering the fact that a DVD can only contain ~ 5 half hour episodes, which is ~ what these contain, it then becomes obvious that there can't be 558 episodes like those ads state, because 5 x 46 = 230, which is less than half what they should be. I have just sent an email to the vendor in this regards, so I will have to await their response, but I suspect that I will be sending them back to them. I should get a prepaid mailing label, but considering how things have gone so far, I'm not all that hopeful.
