    Turbo C

I didn't really know where to put this thread, so...

I would like to start programming. Quick basic is getting a little simple, so i'd like to try this Turbo C, since I have a nice tutorial for it. The problem is, i can't find Turbo C on the internet, and even if i find it, i don't know how to install it. Could someone give me a good link for it and possibly, install instructions.

You can use a C++ compilers/IDEs for just about all C stuff as well. All you have to do is save the source file as .c. And after having a quick look Turbo C seems to have been replaced by Turbo C++.

No worries, have to start somewhere :)

If it's C you want to learn, then a good IDE is one called Dev-C++. Again, despite the name you can program in C with it still.

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher. "
