This is hilarious because I have heard enough stories of people who lived in places like that.

I grew up in the suburbs of one of the largest cities in America, but there are times where a place like that sounds nice. I suppose the dorms here at college are pretty similar in some aspects

I recall seeing my first electrical light hanging in my GranDads home.. just a bulb on the end of what looked to be a cord (socket for the bulb ).
Then we moved to a house with electrical power.. I was going to be a city girl now... lol

Talk about memories!! I lived in a small town of 200 people... 1 gas station, 1 grocery store, no police force and 3 bars .... that was the extent of downtown! We had 4 acres of corn for a front yard and 5 acres of beans for a back yard... a barn for a garage, a creek for a swimming pool ... 4 dogs and 3 cats for companions! Those were good times .... back in the 50's!!

I had an aunt (she died a few months ago) who after she married moved to a town a few miles from the town where she and my dad grew up. Her house didn't have indoor plumbing until the mid 1960s. Must have been kind of cold sitting out there in the middle of winter...

Now, when I take my lottery winnings and move there, I'm going to spend a little of that dough to make sure I have running water in the sink and a flush toilet. I'm also going to buy the biggest daggone satellite dish Harrisville, Ohio has ever seen and about thirty miles of coax for my cable modem connection.

Over the last two months, for no apparent reason, the SVI grew 44 GB, eating up precious HD space. For what I can see the system is creating Restore Points at a pace exceeding one each 7 days or each time a system update is made. I need to a) eliminate about 32 GB of restore points (averaging 3.5...

Small Town Bank was Robbed!
The bank which I do business with was robbed yesterday. Now, normally this isn't such big news, but this isn't NYC . Crimes like this are very rare for this area, and when they do happen its a shock to most people. Articles on it: Search - PostStar.com
