Tons of hosting providers out there. When I ran my own sites I used go-daddy alot, the plans had lots of space. But the custom interface was nothing like cpanel.

I've used JustHost a number of times and they have been very good value for money with little down time. Personally I would not use Go-Daddy these days.

There are many options to choose from and ultimately it depends on your level of expertise, what type of site you are looking to develop. Will you be coding your own site or will it be done with Wordpress, Drupal, or similar. Let us have a bit more info and perhaps we can offer some more precise suggestions???

    Im currently with Ace-host.net
Even the cheap plan does everything I need... php, mysql, ftp, email.
    Interface is cPanel.
Their tech support is great, < 6 hours response time (considering I'm in NZ, and they're based in US, so there's a timezone difference)
And the best thing, there are no ads forced onto your pages :)

Steer away from the free providers. You get what you pay for.
