The discussion is around the various tool bars, home pages and other things that come in the installer for some packages of freeware and get installed automatically unless you are vigilant and opt out of them.
Oh, misinterpreted it then. Even still, CCleaner doesn't come with ANYTHING except for CCleaner. I just installed it the other day after a reinstall of Windows.

A good program and without forced ads, I agree. But in figure I scored the installer commonly offered both by Piriform and download sites. It offered Google's toolbar until recently. Today it offers the Google Chrome. Only the slim version is free of ads.
