One of my military assignments took me to the State of Texas around Christmas time.
They asked me what the weather was like in Minnesota....Told them it was warming up at 20 below zero! I was serious and they couldn't grasp my humor.

I would ask neighbor if I could tap in to their cable line and even offer to pay for some of their bill. Just an after thought as I don't want to get you into trouble stealing from the cable company.

Don't want you to get into trouble by tapping in.
Just be real careful when you are away from home and going wireless.
Do all your private stuff at home with safe guards/passwords.

Are you in a rural/farming area? Put solar panels on the cows and save energy bills to pay for higher speed from Wild Blue.

Would the reliability of the t mobile deal be fine you think? My Android seems to do pretty well on a 4G Verizon connection. Just a shame they don't have an unlimited mifi plan.

The answer to reliability of the mobile deal is I don't know. I don't do any wifi ing anywhere but in the confides of my home with my laptop in front of the tv.

Is cable ever going to expand their coverage in your area? Why did they stop a few blocks from your house?

Small solar panels will work on dogs and cats if needed.
