Yeah. I'm using it more and more recently. As I said earlier, I can share things I like or my opinions with others that I know and their friends (that's the way I have it set up)
So I suppose it's an ego thing.
On the other hand I've used it to ask for information and to give people I know first option on something I was going to ebay.
Just now I posted the Budweiser/porno guy commercial from the "best commercial" thread. I thought it was hilarious and a lot of my friends and colleagues use Facebook but not this (or any other) forum.
They're just not computer users like us.
The power of this kind of internet use is a fascinating development in democracy.
The other day I was talking to an old college friend who now lives in Baltimore USA. He mentioned LinkedIn and said it was Facebook for grownups.
I checked. It's a "professionals" networking service with millions of members.
At the other end of the spectrum are the cyber anarchist type groups and in between are every other viewpoint you can think of.
The groups that are rebelling in Syria are using the same social media as a zombie flash mob in a local shopping mall.
We live in interesting times

No, had it for a very short time, some of the things the CEO (or whatever) said were just too much for me.

I can guarantee you won't see me on Facebook.
But that's good!
Now you know where to go where it is safe and free of Wolves.
