I'm not really a big Beyonce fan but I just spent 2 hours watching her live performance at Glastonbury from last night. For those in UK it's streamed on iPlayer. I imagine you guys in America also got it or can get it.
As I say, not really a big fan, but I can honestly say I've rarely seen a better live show than this. A really tight all female band, great horn section and divine backing singers, This is a pop star on top of her game. She did some interesting covers as well- Alanis Morrisette, Etta James, Annie Lennox and Kings of Leon in there and a few hints of Funkadelic and Bootsy Collins creeping in.
Bit Las Vegas in parts and a bit to much crowd participation, although some of this works well.
I just had it on, top volume over the big speakers and full screen and it was great. Check it out, bet you won't regret it.
