Laptop eats System Restore Points--even after out-of-the-box restore Hello everyone,
I have a repeat problem that I cannot explain: My system creates system restore points just fine (at least, the ones I create manually and can confirm that they are there), but they vanish upon restart.

I've switched from WinXP to Win7 Ultimate a month ago and faced a strange fact: some days ago I've found that process "svchost.exe -k NetworkService" eats more than 350Mb of RAM (it is called Virtual Size in Process Explorer).
Is it okay?
If yes, I'm wondering, how Win7 can be installed...
