I hope you guys enjoy your new stuff. Me, I was up late putting everything together. So far so good, other than trying to sort out some audio conflicts, but I'm not too worried about not being able to rectify it. Still have to re-install a lot of programs and games, but it's up and running.

Man, that moment just before you power it up for the first time and wait for that POST beep is just pure torture...
My first build was last August and I know the feeling very well!

    Fortunately I had no problems.

As Tom Petty once said, "The waiting is the hardest part..."

What kind of things did you buy?

Today I actually sold my previous motherboard/CPU/RAM for $50. The guy who bought it was happy -- he said he was expecting to pay twice as much for parts with similar specs.

Actually, I'm in this mood now where I'm going through all my old stuff and wondering what would be worth selling ... and I'm talking old stuff ... 17" VGA CRT monitor, an inkjet printer that uses the parallel port, etc. I think I even have a game card with two ports on it that plugs into an ISA slot. Maybe some soul out there is looking for something like that.

It's a brand new laptop. The laptop I have now (see specs below) won't play games anymore i think the GPU died on me or something.

I can't wait to play my games again D:

Hope you enjoy it! I know it's a bummer to be deprived of a gaming fix.

I hope that you got free shipping, because next day air is not cheap. Considering the delay that has occurred I would expect some kind of refund on shipping.
