    Windows Theme Hip Hop Song...

ok was bored and just listening to this track i love, its kinda old now but i still think what he did with it is brilliant, either hate it or love it kinda song.

anyways the guys name is charles hamilton and hes a young up and coming rapper who produces most of his own tracks and uses the net to get his music out there.

he produced the beat to this song from mainly windows sounds, hence the name 'windows media player'

charles hamilton - windows media player

    Ow...
    *Rubs ear*

I am NOT a fan of rap, but I think it is a clever use of the Windows Sounds. (Watch MS sue).

To be honest, his voice (just the way he talked) hurt my ears. As I said, I am not a fan of rap.
But I won't insult it, just saying I don't like it.

Man that guy can flow. I just checked out his channel. Guess he got a big Interscope deal. Good for him. You can tell he is from Harlem. He has the kinda laid back MA$E / Cam'ron sound in some of his rhymes. He does sound good though, thanks for sharing.

Exactly. I agree with the creative-ness though. I applaud his ingenuity.

Very clever use of the wav files but I wouldn't call him original. It's good though, don't get me wrong!

Here's one done a year earlier although I wouldn't call it anywhere as near as clean-cut as Charles Hamilton's. :)
(and it's all done using an old style 'tracker' as the apps were called.)

(sounds a bit cheesy compared to Charles' lol!)

There was another tune done about ten year ago too but can't seem to find that one again as yet.
