    Technet Discounts

    Hey Guys,
I'm looking to buy a technet sub and I'm looking for the best discounts (of course!!)
The best I've been able to find gets me to 261.75 USD.
Please don't tell me that i missed the one that expired July 3rd, i know i did

If anyone knows of a better deal or if you have some insider info that a good discount is coming up it would be much appreciated help.

    Thanks everyone

I think that's the best you'll get, which isn't bad btw.

You don't need one. But, with it you can get Windows 7, pretty early on, and Office 2010 when it comes out.

It's not free. You still have to pay for the technet subscription.

Licenses from Technet and MSDN are for non-production and non-personal machine usage only

Hey that's probably the best on the web right now. The most I have ever seen is the 100 off. 85 off is still a really good deal.

I've often wondered, if that was strictly enforced, where on Earth could they be used?

Development machines and test environments. Certain applications have modified EULA allowing you to use on a single personal system as well but most don't.

And as mentioned it isn't strictly enforced if used for personally use but technically it is still piracy.

I guess I should read my EULA's in future.
