Mark this thread as solved" link that shows to the OP at the top of every page.

I do this as a matter of course if the OP hasn't done it, but I'm loathe to do it on a thread I haven't contributed to.
Am I right or have I got my net etiquette knickers in a twist?

If the OP says the thread is solved and hasn't marked it themselves even if you have not contributed please let us know and we will mark them as solved - that will make it easier to find the people that still need help.

Thanks a bunch John. I'm sure this new feature will be extremely useful. I for one found it quite annoyig having to report the thread. This button'll make it a lot easier. Thanks again. :)

Great idea, this will help.
I see a lot of threads that the OP says is solved but not marked yet, I always request it to be marked, whether I contributed or not.
The more threads that are marked 'Solved', the easier it is for people searching for solutions.

Also if the OP's issue returns there is Mark this thread as Unsolved available. I was in a thread which was moved and it was marked Solved, but was not.
