It was one of them self destructing disks. I got it from Doc and it went up in smoke and back to the future.

did anyone ever try opening up a 3.5" floppy, filling the case with scraped-off non-safety match heads and nail polish remover, and leaving the floppy lying around near a computer with whatever appropriately inviting message written on the disk?

never tried it myself, but i heard that results could be quite impressive...
