    Yeah I noticed a big color difference when moving from a TN to an IPS - the IPS panel is more vivid and has more color. The viewing angle is also a lot better.

    BTW you can get the 21.5 inch HP ZR22w for about $250, or the Dell Ultra Sharp U2211H 21.5 for about 300 bucks.

    Both are IPS panels and are said to be the same panel for both 21.5 inch monitors.

    This a real beauty but it's 16:10 aspect 1020x1200. Hence it's a $100 more than the 23" Viewsonic above.
    16:9 monitors with 1920x1080 are now the standard so that is why Viewsonic have priced their 23" so competitively. They're expecting to shift more units.
    Next up would be the 27" Dell Ultrasharp but that's $830.
