Dual Boot - Win 7/Ubuntu 11.04

Quote:
I installed Ubuntu and it works fine but when I start up, the following message comes up:
Try hd(0,0): NTFS5: No wubildr
After a minute or so, the message would disappear and the normal start-up would continue. It's not that bad but it's quite annoying. Any ideas?
I posted that in the following tutorial which I used to dual boot Ubuntu and Win 7.
Dual Boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu

Not many people seem to look at that particular tutorial, so I decided to post here. Soooooooooo, any ideas?

no problems hope you find something useful may i suggest you invest in a ssd drive 30GB and install ubuntu on this if you did decide this before you install ubuntu on it. pull the sata cable out off the motherboard and pull the power connector out off the drive with the windows instillation on. (and any other drive connected to motherboard and there power connectors.) then when ubuntu is all installed reconnect windows/other drives. so when you boot the pc up you can set the bios to boot windows first and when you want to run ubuntu you restart pc and boot into the drive containing it clicking on boot options as the splash screens appear. **and before you do this un-install ubuntu from the windows drive with the ubuntu uninstaller.

Plus one on that. I used to dual boot but found I couldn't install SP1 or custom themes etc onto Windows. GRUB gets in the way. So now I installed Ubuntu 11.04 on it's own drive with my other two drives disconnected.
Now, if I just switch on the machine will boot Ubuntu, GRUB takes over.
However, if I press F12 I get a one time boot choice. So I can boot the Ubuntu drive or the Windows ones.
This seems a much simpler way of doing it and so far so good
