    Old calculator

My folks found this when they were cleaning up & sent it to me a while back. It's a Corvus 400, runs on 4 N cells & they said they paid about $50 for it back then.
I believe I got it in 1975 (Yes, I'm old....)

I was 15 in 1975 When calculators 1st came out, they were quite expensive. And you had better not bring them to school...that was cheating. Remember the 1st "scientific" calculator I saw...amazing!

I barely remember my first calculator back in the mid-sixties. Daddy worked for Motorola and was able to get one of the earliest models. They were so new, I didn't get any flack when I used it in school (I was in High School at the time).

My uncle used to do some development at NEC ,they made those credit card sized calculators way back when. I had to watch that thing like a hawk all the kids wanted to steal it because you couldn't buy them yet.
