Today I had a customer who lives at Laguna Seca Racetrack. His 5th wheel has a small "yard" set up outside the door that is literally feet from the track. He works at the track and works like 10 days of the year. If you like racing, what an incredible job/home! When I go back, I'll try to remember to get some pictures of his view. A Guy
I imagine that you will have many new friends after adjusting to your new surroundings Tews and if there is no public ISP, petition management for one as one of your duties here as a high ranking member of the Goldmember consortium is to award Goldmember badges to new inductees and are an integral part of this forums operation.
I got my laugh today reading an online newspaper from back home, Finland. Iltalehti.fi is the online version of one of the biggest national afternoon papers in Finland, a site I visit several times a day. The site has about 250 to 300K daily visits.
Last weekend there was a minor scandal when an online vote for a national TV's talent shows got an extreme amount of votes alltogether, most of them given for a candidate that really did not deserve them. This scandal being a big issue in my small, native Finland (5.3M inhabitants in whole country), all media has covered this since Sunday. Above mentioned newspaper opened yesterday an online poll, asking a simple question: "Do you trust online voting?"
This just now:
Simply, in Finnish it says that in the first 24 hours of this poll, over 1.2M visitors have voted, all 100% of them "Yes, I trust in online voting".
1.2M votes, on a site that has max 300K daily visitors, in a country with less than half of inhabitants of New York City.
Made me really laugh :)
