    $1,000? LOL!

    Hmm, let's see. How about I just put a $590 256GB SSD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820609379) in a $7 external 2.5 enclosure (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817121005), and I'll pocket the $400 difference?

Let's see, better performance with the SSD, and better compatibility since it uses a regular USB cable and won't block USB ports next to it.

Just think, there won't be any need to lug a 1tb usb external hard drive around with you pretty soon! Your watch pocket will have your entire system backed up there!

1TB SSDs will be around sooner or later, and prices will drop. They're 2.5" wide (size of a notebook hard drive) and some of them have USB ports already built-in. And they're much, much lighter than mechanical hard drivers!

I was also going to mention SSD. Better Perfomance then the 20M/ps of the flash drive.

SSD is the future for which flash drives will either relay on, or succumb to.
