    any gardeners here?


    a friend of mine gave me some plants last winter to stick in my garden - he didn't know what they were called.

    well, they're in flower now - anybody here know what they are?

    thanks pebbles, but it doesn't look much like scabious to me.

    my petals are long and thin, and the foliage looks different too.

    doing some googling myself, the closest seems to be:

    or inula:

    but the leaves don't look the same.
