Is it just me or is it rather empty here a the moment?

I joined back in May 2010, but completely forgot about my account until early this year. I then 'speedily' brought my posts per day statistic up to over 1 (as the months of disuse had rather damaged the stat ). During that time a few months back I was constantly online, always posting back in threads I was in, as, seemingly, was everyone else.
However, over the past few weeks, the level of activity in subscribed threads has dropped phenomenally. Is it just the threads I'm in, or is it rather quiet across the whole of seven forums?

(Pssstttt! - nobody answer and maybe he'll think we've all left. Shhhhhh!)

I would guess that between vacations and other summertime activities, people have more reason to be outdoors right now. :)

    Hi biggles ,

I dunno man , I check back on the forums a couple of times a day and there are so many new posts and threads I can't keep up!

I am a member of many forums related to all sorts of stuff and when I hit the "new posts" button on them I am usually granted with a few meager posts , on here its like 10+ pages of posts!

    Cheers

I noticed that too. People are probably getting better at using Windows7 and have less questions - plus, as was said, it is summer and many are on vacation. especially in Europe.

I agree with you there Wolfgang, our summer seems so short and at present the weather is not helping but we have to grab as much time outside as we can to try keeping the gardens under control, vacation doesn't come into the equation here.

I visit at least once a day but I don't post every time I visit.

Most people can find the answers they are looking for in the vast amount of tutorials located here so maybe dont need to post.I know I used the site for 4-6 months before joining to post because I couldnt find an answer.

Looks like the persistent tutorialists have put people out of a job:)

I'd imagine that any who got laid off will get called back once Windows 8 is out.

I'm still on here several times a day but find I'm posting less. Google+ is currently a distraction I have to admit.

    Hey prodlp................ssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh I was taking a nap!
With the nice week-ends and warm weather most families get out of the house and head for the lakes and water slides.
I usually get the yard work done in the morning (when it is cooler ) then head for the driving range for an hour or so.
