I got that one right! and being a sci-fi fan the reasoning for its importance is that these technologies are usually thought up in a what-if type situation only to be fully realized later on down the line.

I had a quick look last night (only did the first 5 questions - got them all right :) ) and was going to try again this morning. Unfortunately, the quiz seems to have been removed.

Ehmm, it seems Maximum PC havn't paid for the Quiz software, hence a demo from Quizrevolution is running.

I got the strobe light question right with a pure guess, and the description given makes sense with that name.

I got the first female PhD Computer Scientist right, which I think said only 17% of users got right. Doing Computer Science myself, we're expected to know who our predecessors are

Yeah, the quiz is now down. I have a subscription to Maximum PC, so it's currently sitting in my laptop bag. I usually glance over these things....because they ask some really obscure stuff and I'll be honest I don't keep up with the transistor count on the latest GPU's, or how many pixel shaders each and every video card has. Like most people, I don't commit that stuff to memory, but simply look it up on the net when I'm ready to make a purchase.

Well if the quiz is down that saves me the embarrassment of getting more wrong than right

At one question, I just broke into a meme out of madness:

I stopped taking the quiz when it asked about Minecraft default player skin. WTH does that have to do with anything?
