    html advice

    hi guys,

been building a website for a friend who makes flash games and I have got it for the most part but when using Internet Explorer to play games which rely on the up/down arrow keys, the page begins to scroll aswell as the action being undertaken in the game. The flash is in focus and the problem does not occur in google chrome.

Is there a html tag/some other fix to disable scrolling using the arrow keys without disabling them entirely.

    macca

Think you'd need to use some javascript. Basically check for key presses, and check if it's the arrow keys then if true use preventDefault() or just stick a "return false" in there.
