How much is this desktop worth?

    Dell Dimension 4700 C, P4, 2GB ram

    Documentation

I posted the link cause this is my moms computer and I'm not sure what it has in it since the power supply is trashed.

How much could I sell it for with no power supply and no harddrive?

You won't be able to sell it for more than 100 bucks, maybe 50 bucks. Seriously, just keep it and use it as a backup computer or something like that or donate it to an orphanage or charity or something.

Just donate it or keep it yourself, seriously. Where are you going to sell it? Online?

Honestly? I'm not sure it would be worth the money to even ship it somewhere...

With machines like that you /may/ be able to find someone to take it like a school or library or find some place you can donate used computers. Or maybe to a desperate friend? Though it being in non-operational condition... maybe not even then. It really is pretty much recycle material. I've thrown away (recycled of course) more powerful machines than that. :/

But try looking up P4 800 2gig ram on ebay and see what people are getting (realizing that those are probably mostly still working machines)

I just wanted a starting point. I was guessing with a bad power supply and it's specs, I only expected $50-75 out of it. Why keep it when it will just sit around and collect dust? She already has a laptop she uses 99% of the time anyway.

And no I wouldn't ship it. Sell it local. Most likely craigslist. Ebay sucks btw. lol

I realize that, I just threw it out there for a baseline.
