Hm...I think MicroSoft is showing it's distain at last

Is it just me, or does the taskbar icon in W7 for 'network' with that little thing in the upper left that probably means to be a wifi antenna look like it's giving us the finger?

This just means a wired network is being used
Not just a wired network. You get the same symbol for a USB Internet dongle.
