Now that Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) is now out what features do you think Microsoft will jump on and include in Windows 7 Service Pack 2 and Windows 8.

Do you think Microsoft will go App crazy with Windows 8?

Do you think that Apple plays a part in what direction Microsoft will move in?

What features in Lion would you like to see in Windows?

Before you start hammering me, I am not a Mac person. I do not own a Mac, however I do have the Mac OS running on my custom build. I buy my copies of Mac OS and have installed it the legal way.

I have 3 laptops with Windows and 1 iMac and i can tell.. right now, the Mac OS X is far way better and faster .... Windows 8 will need to be much more secured first of all... An App marketplace directly into Windows 8 will be good too, but i don't think they will do that..

Apparently not, if you don't have MAC hardware. Installing it on anything else is not allowable according to Apple.

I have very little experience with Apple products in general. As far as their computers go, I find them too expensive and too hardware limited, and software locked down for my liking. There really isn't anything awesome that OSX can provide that I cannot just as easily accomplish with my Windows based PC. I don't find it hard to keep a Windows box running, maintained, and virus/spyware/malware free. Windows 7 has been stable as a rock for me, with very few issues and almost no crashes of BSOD's at all.

From my understanding, Windows 8 will be the very last release of the Microsoft Windows OS family. It will come in one version I believe, Windows 8 Ultimate. This might give Apple the advantage it once had with the markets when System 7 was the hip thing to do.
