    or checkout camstudio - it's free and opensource too!

    CamStudio is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files and using its built-in SWF Producer can turn those AVIs into lean, mean, bandwidth-friendly Streaming Flash videos (SWFs)

    maybe a good app to add to free software thread?

    +10 for camstudio .. I used that instead of remote assistance when ever my mom used to get stuck... it worked everytime!

    Camtasia Studio, is the best video recording app after my opinion, it also records in HD :)

    I´m using FreezScreen, it´s also free. You can download it from smallvideosoft.com/
