I have Fairpoint DSL with a Download speed of 17.7 Mbps/ Upload Speed 1.18 Mbps with absolutely no bandwidth caps whatsoever. $45.00 US a month. Under this plan I cannot run servers. I would need to go to a commercial account for that.

Prior to Fairpoint coming to my neck of the woods (Extremely Rural) I paid Hughes Satellite $85.00 US monthly for what Hughes called High-Speed Internet

Using speedtest.net Hughes averaged a download speed to my computer of approximately 1.81 Mbps (Conducted an average of 5 tests per 24 hour period.) Before Hughes was available I had dial-up as my only choice. You were Fapped after 450 Mbs download within 24 hours for an additional 24 hours under the Hughes plan.

Fairpoint ISP is doing excellent by me!

I would pay that kind of price for that speed and cap, because I'm paying $37 per month for only 3.3mbps with a 50GB cap with Cox. Unfortunately, the ISP options available locally are not as good as some people have available.

Ten Dash Four! I feel fortunate that Fairpoint came along when it did!
