    11am 8-26 Update


    Irene is moving North and will do so for 12hrs or so followed by a gradual turn to the NNE as it moves along the East coast.
    Irene has weakened just a tad to Cat 2 at 105mph but the wave action and heavy rain will bring lots of flooding.

    Here is a radar shot of Irene out of Wilmington, NC. I heard on the news last night that Irene is 450 miles across.
