sounds of pleasure.

I have Just put the potatoes on to roast,
as they slip into the roasting tray the sizzle as the potatoes hit the hot oil gave me a satisfying Aaaaah! feeling of pleasure ,
the oil temperature is just right and the sounds of a Sunday roast cooking give me a fuzzy feeling of satisfaction.
also crickets in the grass on a hot sunny day in the countryside do it for me as well.
so c'mon folks share what sounds conjure up that feeling for you
keep it clean Dennis.

I quite enjoy the sound of an ice cold bottle/can of beer being opened on a hot day

A cool breeze that rustles tree leaves on a fine, summer day.

The sound of bat on on ball as I relax with a pint of beer watching cricket on the village green.

The sound of a hand mower cutting grass and the smell of the grass as it wafts into my back garden.

My sunday is perfect with a nice pot roast that I put the potatoes, onions and carrots in to cook after most of the roast is done and then making good gravy with the water and drippings. That paired with a good piece of home made apple pie with some good vanilla ice cream for dessert. I am in heaven. Life is good..

Growing up it was the sounds and smells of ocean breezes blowing through the local eucalyptus trees. I would play till tired then lay under them with the smell and sounds of the wind through the leaves playing foil to the sunlight raining through gaps. Mystical moments that are as real and magical some 45+ later......yikes !

not to forget the sound of owls calling to each other.
the distant roar of a motorbike engine.
the sound of that first inhale of a smoke ,the longer the better.
the scratchy hiss of the needle on a record for the first second or so , (Alan )
the fizz of a drink being poured over ice.
the best one for me has to be my almost 3 year old giggling and laughing to the point of almost weeing himself.
and how could i forget ,danny saying "night dad" as i close his bedroom door ......Aaaaaah!
