Dogs is simply the best. Period.
    I couldn't agree more. QED.

Dogs are better behaved than most of the "me, me, me" generation of children.
Never any food wastage when you have a dog
They provide mobility for the blind, companionship for the elderly etc.
Dogs are used in security to sniff out contraband - explosives - illegal food stuffs - drugs.
They are sensitive to your mood & act accordingly.
They help in medicine in the detection [ sniffing ] of some cancers.
Dogs add security to your property.
I could go on & on, but won't.

Dog's work while cat's sit on their fat a***s.

i would say that this indicates a higher level of intelligence in the feline species.

who wants to work for no money? cats don't grok 'the work ethic'.

can't say that i do either.

JMH, oxymoronic is the right word you're looking for

    Mickey true story:

I had a cat that had fallen out of the window as they tend to do, i paw bruised so she limped with it.
So i gave extra attention and tidbits.
But after a while a started to wonder when her paw would finally be better. After some thought, i put the cat on the table, quickly left the room and peaked around the corner.

And.....she jumped smoothly off walked smoothly to her favorite place and slept.

    Devious abstard.

No it's not. Where I live oxymoron would be considered correct. Such is the English language. Oh well...........sigh.

their intelligence yes, their deviousness no. I had another cat, a Siamese, at the time i was still single and had a 1 room apartment. My bookshelf was above my bed. After a while, if i slept late, the cat would jump on the bookshelf and push a book on my head.
