Google Revontulet (Finnish), Aurora Borealis (Latin) or Polar Lights (English).

BTW, the Finnish word for this phenomen, "Revontulet" means "The lights of the Fox" (revon = genitive of repo, old Finnish for fox, tulet = plural of tuli, fire).

No, not yet. Where I'm coming from, the Kaamos (Sami for Polar Night) begins a few weeks before Christmas or rather a few weeks before winter equinox, which is this year 22nd of December, and last an equal amount of days after it. Polar Lights can be best seen, and occur more often, during this Polar Night and a few weeks both side of it.

So, wait a month before heading to Lapland
