    Not seen often.


    It's not very often you see one but was surprised to see I had a flower on my Aspidistra. I noticed it yesterday about teatime so took this photo. It's not a very good one as the light wasn't that good and I'm not good trying to take close ups with a cheap camera.

    Reminds me of my excitement seeing one of my Century Plants bloom. But it's like Banana trees--They don't survive the ordeal after the fruit.

    The flower stalk grows to about 20'. I have pictures somewhere--Can't find them at the moment.
