Very, very 1985. Artistic license deviates from the novel series quite a bit. Despite it's many flaws however, it's not a complete write off. You'd have to be a fan of the series to enjoy it though. Not really recommended.

Yeah, but Joel Grey as an old Korean master is hilarious in that movie.

Otherwise pretty bad.

I watched (for class) The Manchurian Candidate, with Frank Sinatra. It was interesting I suppose, but then it was released during the cold war, a time when most zine ads were for bomb shelters...LOL

I am not really a movie goer. Last time I went to a movie theatre was in 1964 - so I guess I am not up-to-date, LOL.
