I am sure many recall this old movie. I found it in my old archives.
    The Song Of The South
Try making an animated 40s movie featuring content like that in the PC-era and see what happens....

It was just a reality of the times the movie was made in I guess...

I've seen it about six times anyway.

We were at a friends house for dinner last night and we just watched whatever was on TV...

    Crocodile Dundee (1986)

Gave the world Paul Hogan and a KNOIFE.

Introduced the world to an awesome aussie before the infamous "fightin' round the world" Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman.

    Battle Royale (2000)

Made before movies like 'Hunger Games' were even conceptualized in the west, this Japanese movie is about a dystopian future in which a random class from a random school is picked by National Lottery to participate in a free for all survival of the fittest contest (basically kill or be killed) on a secluded island of the shore of Japan.

It's a very shocking movie to watch the 1st time, as all of the actors and actresses are actually teenagers and they play their roles convincingly. There are very disturbing scenes in this movie, and even those who're desensitized from violence would feel rather queasy at times....

I had wondered why Paul Hogan hadn't made more movies, because I've only seen the first two Crocodile Dundees. However there are two more movies (Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles and Lightening Jack) which I haven't seen yet. Still that is a short list.

EDIT: OOPS!, his filmograpy is longer than I thought:
