being a Photographer part time, the focus was too much, the focus distance was a bit suspicious,

Thank you Wolfgang. There are some gorgeous cars on that page!!!
Did you notice that those cars had the steering wheel on the right side - although in France they were driving on the right side of the road. Strange relic from the early days of the automobile.

When I lived in Paris in the early 60's I failed to buy a convertible for FF800 (less than $200 in todays money). It was in good running order and the body was excellent. The fact that the steering wheel was on the wrong side kept me from getting it. I think that was a big mistake.
No, I didn't notice the steering wheel on the right side. Interesting!

I had a vintage cranberry-red classic Jaguar XJ6L for many years --- it was absolutely beautiful! When I first saw it, it was an old junk that I had completely restored, top to bottom, inside and out - every single detail was replaced (and a Chevrolet motor and transmission installed). Bottom line, was that although the aesthetic restoration was gorgeous and elegant, it was mechanically very unreliable, and although I loved it, I spent a lot of money on repairs and even worse, I never knew for sure when I got into it, that the car was going to get me where I was going.
