aw i remember that game! one of the best, to be honest. ignoring the graphics and all, i really enjoyed the gameplay. it's like an RPG in its own worth

HUGE space sim nut here, and bitter that most of the recent games are little more than glorified first person shooters which happen to be set in space, completely lacking in any depth whatsoever, failing to meet the standards set by Freelancer, Elite, etc, years ago.

Except graphics, but graphics - like hollywood - can go suck itself. What use is a shiny engine when everything else (trading, upgrading, diplomacy, factions, exploration, etc) shows no improvement and often neglected altogether?

I'm sick and tired of <10-hour, 5-missions-and-you're-done $60 PC games.

Bitter, I tell you.
