erm, getting back on topic...

here's my mitzi hiding in the bird-bath, waiting for some poorly-sighted thirsty avians to drop by my rather wild garden...

and some typically stupid dogs...

we've got a bengal, called big spots - i'll try and get a photo of him later. in fact we used to have three - little spots vanished about five years ago, and mozart died of peritonitis two weeks ago.

anyway, i'm never going to get another - as a breed, they are very demanding, pushy and insistent and if they don't get their own way will knock things off the shelf or yowl bloodcurdlingly, just to annoy you. their cry penetrates further than a baby's, especially in the dead of night.

big spots is prone to occasional acts of random violence too. we've got thirty-something cats, and fifty-something chickens, and only spots has ever killed a chicken.

so, my advice to you is, if you really want a bengal, get some earplugs and a big bottle of patience.

And dont keep chickens, eat them instead.
