I don't get what poeple have such anger towards FOX, just because they bring something up to discuss...and other networks don't doesn't mean its fear mongering...it means they want the truth out! it's true that people who hate FOX never really seen anything from them and just take and run with whoever says just to be the "cool" kid on the block.

If you watch the ratings every week, FOX trumps all cable news networks repeatedly COMBINED! So I guess you anyone who hates FOX that means, we Americans are "retarded, tin foil hat, rednecks, cavemen people"?

I wouldn't worry abt it right now. It seems since the broadcast cars.gov is timing out.

government = ninja quick to hide f***ups.

though, i dont think a giant, faceless mass, that controls virtually everything needs to worry about what people think....hmmm, site maintenance, maybe?

getting back to the original thread, can a government (or any) website actually scan your computer and 'own' your files?

you would surely have to download some serious browser add-on for that - and surely it would make antivirus programs go crazy?

Good question. Apparently it is legal. If you agree Privacy statement, and see the warning which clearly states that while you are accessing their gov. site, they own your computer and basically can do what they wish, then yeah whats on your computer at that time is their property too.

I never paid much attention but from here on out, Ill stay far away from gov websites. Nothing but propaganda and all that their anyhow.

And to those who bash Fox News, Im thankful for a network with a few hosts/commentators, that will actually dig deep and question the agenda of this current administration. As you can see, most of the main stream new networks are this administrations best friend.
This isnt new, but it is a sad day in America where journalists and news networks/media cater so much to a political view that they will leave out facts, pursue only certain stories, and aide a certain political party. Most of the major news media outlets here promote and praise the democratic/liberal agenda.
Say what you want about glenn beck, but at least he is a voice for Americans. He isnt catering to one side or another. He has gone after all sides when it comes to defending our constitution. He may not always be right, but damn it, hes been right many times and will always admit when he was wrong. Obama is clearly nothing more than a radical pursuing the growing over government and its powers. The guy has i think, 31 czars already! 31! All accountable to no one but him.

I'm glad someone here has a little bit of American left in him and uses his brain.
