    Some MS news regarding Metro


    Summary: Microsoft is making some Windows 8 UI concessions but isn’t going so far as to allow users to circumvent the tiled Metro screen altogether.

    Wow, does no one read statements from Microsoft anymore? They said in a interview that the DP of Windows 8 had everything turned on and users would not be able to select options during installation n what they want turned on/off until the Beta. IE the new UI is/will optional in the final version and the beta. These reports are useless and scare people like people where scared of Vista. Also I read the report where they got there statements from and they leave out the part that I have mentioned. These reporters should not be alowed to report half statements.

    If they listen to public opinion...as they did so successfully with Win7 then the Metro interface will definitely be a switchable feature...
    Many are not very enamored with it.
