    Googled Dual Boot Windows.

Dual Boot Windows XP popped up. The two top choices were another forum and sevenforums.

My brother said click that one. Went to the other web site first. Exact same Method 2 tutorial as Brink's until you get to Step 7. They had no Step 7!!!
They said nothing about the .net framework being downloaded so the Easy BCD would open.
So I clicked the Google sevenforums dual boot link.
Straight to Brink's tutorial and the rest is a short 60 odd day lively history.

    PS
My brother has the two Masters degrees.
One in Computer Science (not sure of the exact degree) and one in Accounting.
He is the Prof. teaching at a University.
I'm the one building our PC's now.

Well, i first went to Vistax64 because my version would not update. Damn thing, same errors all the time and never did get to the bottom £162 wasted, thank god i bought OEM and not retail.... anyway...

Yeah, started on the Vx64 site. After a while, i gained a version of the 7 RC think it was build 7100, but then what do you know, the next lot kept being leaked, did a search on Google and it bought me here as there was thread stating to PM people here for the links.

After a while, i made my first post about imaging and never looked back since.

I was trying to manage my new Win 7 as I did XP, didn't know squat about Win 7 and was making a mess of my system. A friend referred me here. I found one of Brink's tutorials that answered my questions. I used a restore point, got my system running and Chev helped me get my networking set up properly. I have been here ever since and trying pass the help I received forward.

    And succeeding

I found Vista forums through google search for an issue I had and for some reason stuck around the forum,, (there was just something different about the forum from others that I could not place :) ).

Joined and started to pass on some of my knowledge to others while I was absorbing the vast knowledge available there.

Ted, (BareFootKid) sent me a friend request that confirmed that this was a nice place to hang out, and the rest is history,

I was invited onto the team and then to Moderate and as soon as I took the plunge with win7 signed up here.

So blame Ted for all the time I spend here, Thanks mate

And he turned you into a chain-smoking chimp too. I sure hope SevenForums has a medical plan.

Glad you found your true self. As stated in an earlier post of mine It took me some time to decide whether or not to join this forum but after getting used to the friendly, helpful & humorous (your avatar, THW, boobah) atmosphere I was hooked.

Another amazing & humorous event was when I tried to create my own Sig & Avatar with Paint.NET and the end result was other members creating a Sig & Avatar/Animated Avatar for me without even asking. On a humorous note that would be one way to keep the relevant thread "neat & tidy" in reality their time & expertise helping others is greatly appreciated.

But lets not forget the true reason I singed up and that would be the whole purpose of SevenForums existance - eg: Tutorial section and Legendary Gurus such as Gregrocker and others to numerous to mention.
