i was held at gunpoint and forced to join
well sorta.. i joined cus the first problem i faced with my new windows 7 was something that i tought was beyond my physics. than thanks to some members i found out i just needed to do is use a restore point. after that the rest is history
I was working with Windows 7 BETA and had dual boot on the PC with Vista 64 being the primary but the PC would not stay running in Vista so I opted to test W7 BETA. 7 BETA worked flawlessly with the exception of 2 drivers and while searching out drivers I happened on to a post by Brink but don't remember where that was but I ended up here and have never left and now have at least 7 PC's migrated over to W7.
I was at my other group and they posted the link to this site.
I am going to be getting Windows 7 Ultimate soon and that is why I joined to get more information and tuts, just in case I get stuck with how something works.
P.S. I have been a Windows XP user since high school in 1998.
I had just got a copy of Win 7 and wanted to dual boot with XP and Ubuntu. A search lead me here. My irascibility has been tempered, a bit, by the many wonderful folks on these Forums. I'm glad I found y'all; I hope y'all feel the same ...
