    Help. Can somebody tell me if this is a scam or on the level?


    Can somebody tell me if this is a scam or on the level? I usualy delete eveything I don't recognise but this has got me thinking.

    It doesn't say who it is from? I'd say avoid the links and delete the email.

    I never click links in emails I don't know. Delete and be safe.

    If you roll your cursor over the name of the sender it will identify who the REAL sender is. Or, you can also identify the sender by hitting Reply and you'll see the senders real email address. Then you'll know whether it's legit or a scam.

    I've seen those e-mails a lot... in my spam box anyway! Gmail seems to be filtering these out pretty well, but yeah that looks like a malware scam to me. If you have the link to download it, I'd be interested in deploying it in a VM to see what it really does.

    Thanks for the quick replies, I will follow everybody's advise, as well as my instinct and delete it. Some of these things are becoming very convincing for old farts like me, at 71.
