For a classic I have to go with a 1966 Chevy Nova SS:

Not that I don't like modern, but I will always be a muscle car guy 1st. I had a 78 Trans Am, with a 1970 Ram Air III 400 engine, about 370HP. 3:73 Posi, Built TH350, all adjustable suspension, Koni Shocks. All black, not a spec of chrome or any badges, just the red Pontiac emblem on the nose. Very fast, but also ran autocross for a while. But everyone had B210's, and Mazda RX's and my car was probably 4,000 lbs. I held my own against those little cars, and obviously would have trounced them in a race

I live in CA, and although my mods were grandfathered in, when smog testing started, I had my car certified, they even attached a badge, but every other year it was always a hastle getting my smog certificate. I finally sold it to some 20 something who just about had an orgasm when I took him on a test drive. I bought a new car with Airbags and Antilock brakes, etc. Wished I had room to keep the T/A. Last time I saw it it was all beat up with body damage...oh well, he bought it.

    @ A GUY

I know what you are saying, I do like a good muscle car, but the expense gets me. That really sucks about about the T/A, I was never really a Pontiac guy though, but still nice cars. I posted this pic on another thread (she's my baby) I got this from my father inlaw, not a muscle car but damn fun to drive. 1958 Buick Special:

Late Model, I'd have to go with a 71 Cuda

New Model Production, Hands down Volkswagen Bugatti

...And if you don't know much about the Bugatti, I strongly recommend researching it as it is currently the fastest production car made worldwide.

The Veyron used to be the fastest car. However the World's Fastest Car is the SSC Ultimate Aero TT.

I would be quite happy with either one.

I like both cars and I was a huge fan of the Veyron until....

Once I found out that if I were lucky enough to purchase one everything on the car is propriety and you mostly have to have it serviced by them. At the time (this could be less now-a-days, since i have not looked in long time) to change a tire was $20,000. I don't know about you but I don't have $20,000 to change a tire, especially if I just spend 1.6 million to buy the car. (I am sure if I have that kind of money than $20,000 for a tire is not much, but still) The Aero on the other hand is built with all standard parts so a tire change is $600 and the car costs much less at $650,000. This makes the car much easier to buy for us that cannot buy cool stuff like this.
