One of my favourite cars was a Ford Cortina 1600E, which I bought in the early 1970s.
It's a classic car now and if I tried to drive it now in my geriatric state I'd probably kill myself!

For both of us. Those cars were quite gutsy compared to their competition and extra horses were just a tweak away.
When the Ford Cortina Mark 1 first appeared in 1962, it was an absolute revelation to what Ford had produced previously in Great Britain.
The Mark 2 version made its debut in 1966 and the E in the 1600E that I had stood for Executive.
Executive? I thought they were a faster version than the standard version. There was also a 2000E. My friend had one.

The stop from 200-mph took just 7.28 seconds. That means, in a span of just 24.96 seconds, you can hit 200-mph and come back down to zero. Astonishing!
