    Technology - intrusive or what?

I don't have anything other than a simple mobile since I really don't need anything else but what are your thoughts on this (probably not new to many) and the general trend towards less privacy -

    Not surprised - not impressed.

I loathe it with a passion. Short of going off the grid, there's not really a lot that can be done because some people not only don't mind the lack of privacy - they embrace it.

These people believe the hype that personal tracking is a good thing. As such, they are the ever increasing majority which is the demographic that drives the markets we are either forced to adopt, or be left right out.

Bunch of cads in my view. I wipe all my cookies and don't log on to Google, only allowing Amazon to send me related stuff - I do tend to buy quite a bit from them. Since I'm on a dynamic ISP connection I don't seem to get much other stuff but the tracking is one reason why I do most of my forum usage as anonymous. Haven't bothered with Facebook yet or perhaps ever will.
