    Star Trek of course.

Never really liked Star Wars. Too fantastical to be even remotely believable. Any film/show/series that places human origins outside of Earth or this Galaxy just pisses me off.

As stupid as it sounds, Star Trek is more envisionally realistic to me. Appeals to a more analytical and logical mindset.

it's a bit like comparing apples to oranges.

star wars is a few movies (only 2 or 3 of which are worth bothering with), whereas star trek went on for decades as several multi-episode series.

i prefer princess leia to cpt kirk any time, but if a gun were pointed at my head and i was forced to chose, there's only one logical choice: fringe

seriously though, my vote is for the original star trek - the more modern ones just aren't the same. you can't beat the combination of jim, bones, spock and scotty.

Star Trek, the original TV series, ye cannae beat it... The acting was legendary, William Shat with the long pause prior to dialogue. DeForest Kelley with the maniac facial expressions (incidentally the young guy who played "bones" in the recent Star Trek movie had the original character down to a 'T') Spock, Scotty, Sulu et al & the quotes, the memorable quotes… very fond memories of the original series!

    Always hated Star Trek....
LOL ppark - I bet if I said I loved Star Wars you'd probably say you loved Star Trek

I guess It's just part our ever loving opposites attraction
I didn't make that comment to simply disagree with you, I just don't like Star Trek. Never have. Tried to watch it a few times and I simply cannot do it. Not sure what I hate so much, but I don't like it.

This certainly wasn't a jab at you. I also voraciously dislike baseball.
