What I do for threads or posts I want to keep for reference is simply Bookmark them - ether the whole thread or the post using the Permalink.

In my set up with Firefox and the All-InOne sidebar if I want to refer someone to a post or tutorial I can simply drag the bookmark into the post editor.

This also works for links to other sites

Very cool Ideas. I have FF and all in one. Never thought about dragging a bookmark to the post editor. Thanks

The pictures help me visualize how to do it too

    Hi Ken

    Pleased to help :)

As I have used the same profile for FF for the last two or three years (profile on data drive so survives OS re-install ), I have the bookmarks quite organized - which make it easier

Actually I have always wondered why when we submit typed material online it is considered "submitting a document/paper"
